Books go out every month on the 5th and are due back on the 15th of the next month!
Terms and Conditions
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
theRealBookPlug of Arkansas offers the Renter the opportunity to rent books through theRealBookPlug.com subject to the following terms and conditions. If you choose to rent a book through theRealBookPlug website, then you accept the Rental Terms.
Book Condition
The book may be in new or used condition. The used condition books will be in rental condition as determined by theRealBookPlug.
Book Returns
You agree to return the book on or before the due date, which is the 15th of the following month from rental date. Expectations are made for extension purchases or when an agreement is made between you and theRealBookPlug.
NOTE: The rental fees are non-refundable.
I am not responsible for items that are lost in transit from you to me or for items that sent to me in error.
After a book is returned, theRealBookPlug, in its sole discretion, will determine whether the book is in acceptable rental condition. If theRealBookPlug determines that the returned book is not in acceptable rental condition, theRealBookPlug may charge you the buyout price of the book at the time of rental, and ship the book back to you to keep.
Automatic Purchase
The book you rent must be returned to the library on the 15th of each following the rental date. If the rented book is not postmarked on or before the return due date, then you will be charged the full list price of the book and you can keep the book; if the book is returned to me, then I will return it back to you to keep. Rental fees are non-refundable and will not be credited towards the automatic purchase of the contemplated in this section.
Payment
Under these Rental Terms, you authorize me to charge you for any amount owed by you to the credit card you used to rent the book or, if such credit card is no longer valid, then to any other credit card on file. In your account, you agree to maintain at least one valid credit card that expires no earlier than 275 days after the rental date. If you incur outstanding or unpaid fees, then we reserve the right to block or cancel orders and suspend or terminate your account.
Risk of Loss
Upon my delivery of the book to the carrier (both for the initial shipment and for any return shipments from me to you), the risk of loss is passed on to you. When a book is returned from you to me, the risk of loss pass to me upon our receipt of the book from the carrier.
Shipping Availability
Book rentals are available only to shipping addresses in the United States (including the continental United States, Hawaii and Alaska, but excluding Puerto Rico and U.S. territories).
MODIFICATION TO AGREEMENT
theRealBookPlug, in its sole discretion, may change these Rental Terms or any other policies without notice to you. If any change is found invalid, void, or unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or Rental Terms.
